So here I am, three days out from release.

Everything is as complete as it needs to be. The publishing pipelines are set, the files are finalised, and there’s nothing more for me to do for Whispers in the Dark.

It’s an odd feeling — not excitement or panic. More like a kind of calm. I’ve done what I can, and at this point fretting or worrying wouldn’t change anything.

If there’s anything that feels slightly unsettling, it’s simply not knowing how the book will be received. I hope readers enjoy it. I also have no illusions about being “discovered” on day one — the world is very large, and I’m very easy to miss.

And that’s fine.

Everything is set. Whispers in the Dark will make its way out into the world, for better or worse. Regardless of how it lands, I’ve enjoyed the process of making it — and I have no intention of stopping here.

Wish me luck 🙂
