Calculus of Trust Is Out

Calculus of Trust is live.

Ebook and paperback are available now across Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, and the other retailers. If you’ve been waiting, it’s ready for you.

Last-Minute Revisions

In keeping with the theme of this whole process, I couldn’t leave it entirely alone. A few last-minute revisions made it in before release, so what’s in the stores is the cleanest version of the book I could put out. No plot changes, just the line-level polish that you only see once you’ve stopped looking at the thing for a few days.

Author Copies

The author copies arrived, and they look good.

There’s something about holding the physical book that the proof copy didn’t quite deliver. The proof is a checklist: margins, spine, colour, typos. The author copy is just the book. The cover looks right in the hand, the pages sit well, and it feels like a real object that exists in the world now.

I’m pleased with how it came out. Quiet moment, a cup of coffee, and a book with my name on the front. Not bad.

What’s Next

Book Three.

Calculus of Trust was always the middle of a trilogy, and the middle is where the pressure builds. Now it’s time to bring it home: the conclusion of The Observer Effect, where the questions the first two books raised have to be answered, whatever the answers cost.

I’ll share more as it takes shape. For now, thank you to everyone who’s read, reviewed, or told a friend about the books so far. If you’ve finished Calculus of Trust, a short review on your retailer of choice makes a real difference.

Calculus of Trust — Book Two of The Observer Effect — available now.
